Find early music instruments!

Organistrum is a platform designed by REMA to support musicians and ensembles on tour by helping them find historically informed instruments more easily. Whether you're looking for a violone in Belgium, a Baroque oboe in Spain, or a harpsichord tuned to 415Hz near Berlin, our goal is simple: to connect you with the right people, at the right time.

This platform is not a rental service. It does not manage bookings or handle insurance — those aspects remain to be discussed directly with the instrument owner. Organistrum acts as a collaborative database where makers, owners, ensembles, and institutions can share availability, specifications, and contacts for instruments tailored to early music.

Through this shared tool, we aim to strengthen our community, reduce logistical obstacles during tours, and foster resource-sharing among early music professionals across Europe and beyond.

ADD YOUR INSTRUMENT!

Organistrum is a free tool created to make touring easier for early music professionals. If you own a historical instrument and would like to make it available for others to see, you are welcome to add it to our shared database.

The extent of the information you provide is entirely up to you — from a simple description to full specifications and availability periods. Please note that we do not manage rentals, bookings, or insurance: these matters are to be arranged directly between the owner and the interested party.

All data is published either by the instrument owner or with their explicit and written authorization. Once a year, you will receive a request to confirm or update your entry, to help us keep the database accurate and useful.

If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact the REMA team in charge of the project: info@rema-eemn.net
